TSC Online Portal (registration).Teachers who wish to register with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) will now receive their registration certificates in a digital format, which they can download and print to serve as proof of their registration.The TSC introduced this digital certificate system on November 1, 2023.

Here’s Simplified Steps Of Applying For TSC Number In Digital Format.
1. Email Registration: When applying for registration, teachers are required to provide a valid email address. The TSC will use this email to send the digital certificate of registration.
2. OTP Verification: To ensure security, a One Time Pin (OTP) verification code will be sent to the teacher’s phone. This code is used to confirm the teacher’s identity. The teacher must enter the code to complete the verification process.
3. Certificate Delivery: Once the registration is successfully processed, the teacher will receive a digitized certificate of registration via the email address provided during the application. To obtain a hard copy of the certificate as evidence of registration with TSC, teachers can simply download and print it.

Requirements for Registration as a Teacher:
a. For Kenyan Citizens
– Certificate of Good Conduct
– Relevant academic and professional certificates from recognized institutions
– A copy of the Identity Card or Passport
– Passport photo
– KRA Pin Certificate
– Duly filled GP 69 Medical Form
– Payment of a non-refundable registration fee of Kshs. 1055, deposited to TSC through paybill 222222.
b. For Non-Kenyan Citizens
– Academic and Professional Certificates and other evidence for teacher registration obtained in Kenya or the country of origin.
– Academic and Professional Certificates, which must have been awarded by an accredited foreign institution and equated by the relevant public body in Kenya.
– Certificate of Registration as a teacher or authority to teach in the country of origin.
– A valid Entry/Work Permit issued by the Department of Immigration.
– A valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the relevant law enforcement agency in the country of origin.
– Vetting letter from the Ministry of Education (Kenya).
– Payment of the prescribed fee of Kshs. 1055 through paybill 222222.
